I have 7 years of experience as an expert in power system dynamics and stability. I worked first in academia for 5 years on three industrial projects with TSOs in France (RTE), Australia (AusNet), and Belgium (Elia). My work allowed me to develop a deep understanding in power system dynamics and stability as well as control and modelling of converter-based technologies. My areas of focus were mainly the study of weak grids with high penetration of converter-based generators. Since I have joined Elia Grid International in January 2022, I am working on very technical and complex challenges linked to the massive integration of power electronic converters in the power system, from static to dynamic analysis with ElectroMagnetic Transient (EMT) simulations. This involves, among others, study of grid-forming control, system interactions as well as operation and control of MultiTerminal DC (MTDC) grids.
