
Lorenzo Santini, PhD, Director of Nuclear Business Development, Worley, Eastern Europe
Since the beginning of 2003 involved in International projects (Italy, USA, France, Slovakia, Saudi Arabia, Bulgaria) for the engineering and construction of GENII, GENIII, GENIII+ NPP, experimental facilities, and compact innovative nuclear power plants (VVER 440, EPR, IRIS, Space Power Conversion Devices, SPES3). Lorenzo obtained a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from Milan Polytechnic on an experimental and theoretical study for a Small Modular Reactor (SMR) developed by a consortium led by Westinghouse.
His main professional roles covered a wide spectrum of activities ranging from the design, feasibility studies, experimental investigations, expertise activities, construction management, project engineering, project management, relations with nuclear regulators and business development. Lorenzo managed, as direct responsible, NPP EPC contracts for approved budget of over € 800 M. Today he’s Director of Nuclear Business Development for Worley.
