Milan Vukasovic

Milan Vukasovic received his Dipl.-Ing degree and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, both from the Department of Power Systems, Faculty of Electrical Engineering Podgorica, University of Montenegro (2004 and 2007). He works for Transmission System Operator – Austrian Power Grid AG, Operational Department, on the issues related to implementation of operational network codes, cross-border redispatch and counter-trading.

In the time period 2007-2014 Milan was engaged as the International Project Manager on the following projects:  integration of capacity allocation services into coordinated auction offices: CASC.eu and Central Auction Office, design and development of cross-border intraday markets. At the same time, he was involved as the team leader in drafting of Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management (CACM) Network Code.

Previously he worked with Electric Power Company of Montenegro (2005/07) where he was responsible for real-time transmission system control in dispatching centre.

His main interests are in electricity markets modelling/simulation, congestion management, demand-side management, load-flow analysis and computer applications in power systems.

He is convener of the regional ENTSO-E market TF in the region of South-East European (Congestion Management and Market Integration) and Economic Group within TSO TSC Security Cooperation.

Milan speaks English and Serbo-Croatian fluently and German at intermediate level.
