
Since 2019, Mykhailo Bratakh has headed the ground infrastructure department of Ukrgazvydobuvanny Joint-Stock Company. He is the author of more than 80 scientific articles and 10 patents pending. Since 2010, he is an associate professor of the Department of Oil, Gas and Condensate Extraction of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”. He began his career in the industry at UkrNDigaz as an engineer of the gas transportation department, after graduating from the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas.
From 2022, Mykhailo Bratakh heads the branch of the Ukrainian Research Institute of Natural Gases JSC “Ukrgazvydobuvannya”. “UkrNDIgaz has a powerful team, together with which we will work to transform the institute into an oil and gas R&D center of international level. The strategic emphasis of his activity will be the introduction of new technologies to support the basic level of production at “old deposits, as well as the creation of the necessary prerequisites for the successful implementation of new large projects, which often require non-standard solutions or those that have not been used in Ukraine so far,” says Mykhailo Bratakh.
