
After his studies in Computer Engineering, Salvatore Cataldi focused on designing software for distributed automation systems. Since 2004 he has been dedicated to integrated Building Automation Systems (BAS). He has been involved in the design and development of Building Automation Systems integrating proprietary systems into BACnet standard systems. Salvatore supported several control system manufacturers in designing building automation devices and solutions. Since 2018, Salvatore has been part of BELIMO. His role focuses on the Belimo Digital Ecosystem’s conceptualization and integration with external digital services. He leads the BACnet Europe Interest Group’s technical working group and serves as secretary of the ASHRAE SSPC135 for the BACnet standard and the ASHRAE 223 standard for semantic interoperability. In eu.bac he is part of the Advocacy working group, and he focuses his contribution on digitalization and digital integration subjects.
