Tim Cummins

Tim is President and Founder of the International Association for Contract & Commercial Management. He has led the Association for 19 years, growing its worldwide membership to more than 50,000 individuals, representing more than 16,000 corporations. Tim’s role is turning increasingly towards research and working with Governments, NGOs and academic institutions to drive reform and education in commercial policy and practice. He also supports senior management at many leading corporations with commercial capability assessment and advisory services.

Prior to IACCM, Tim’s business career included executive roles at IBM and a period on the Chairman’s staff, leading studies on the impacts of globalization and the re-engineering of IBM’s global contracting processes. His earlier career involved the banking, automotive and aerospace industries, initially in Corporate Finance and later in commercial and business development. He led negotiations up to $1.5 billion in value and his work has taken him to over 50 countries.
