
Virginia (Ginny) is a geologist with over 32 years of global experience in the environmental field. She has extensive experience in strategically resolving environmental liability through execution of nature-based solutions (NbS) and other strategic approaches involving multiple contaminants in groundwater and soils, including petrochemical and manufacturing sites, legacy mining sites, pipelines, and refineries.
She has supported NRDA research and development and extrapolated tools to support a range of Natural Capital projects across diverse portfolios from negotiating upstream permits and mitigation and biodiversity offsets, carbon footprint offsets, water resource management, through downstream resolution of environmental liability and lost use, contaminated land management, and value-generating divestments. She has provided extensive support and regulatory guidance for policy development, rulemaking, and legislation processes including the United States Department of Defense and British Columbia Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.
